The cottage just outside off Inverness was not something Damon imagined when Aurelia invited him to a meeting. But again, he hadn't frequented many Brothels, and if he remembered right, they were also a new establishment. Nonetheless, the cottage looked clean and decent. A promising sign in the mercenaries' eyes, it didn't seem like the grey fae would be hurt here. After giving his rabbit away, Damon wasted no time getting to Aurelia's room. Knocking at her door, the male called out @Aurelia |
Aurelia
In all honesty, Aurelia had not expected to hear from him again. They’d met in town and chatted a bit before she’d made her usual offer and then told him where to find her before returning home. So when the knock upon her door came, followed by a familiar voice, she was all too quick to answer “come in!”
She stood up, turning in his direction and the lovely smell of lavender filled the entire room. A gift? “F-for me?” she asked, a little stunned and very much flattered by the kind and thoughtful gesture. She smiled gently and picked the bouquet up, turning to find a place to put it by her bed so that she could enjoy the fragrance as long as it lasted. After she set the flowers down, she turned back towards him, her cheeks warm at the idea of being thought of, even by someone who was a stranger. “Thank you, Damon. I love them, they smell beautiful...” she said. If only she could see what they looked like. For a moment, she forgot where she was and why he was probably here in the first place. It wasn’t long before reality crashed down in her and she let out a soft noise, somewhere between a sign and a laugh. “I take it you’re here for a reason, then?” she asked before slowly sitting down.

The petite fae's face showed a flattered but delighted expression. relieved Damon breathed in, his choice in flowers was a good one. Thankfully the grey she-wolf was already back on track, she was the professional of the two. @Aurelia |

“Well I definately prefer flowers to the mess of a bloody hare,” she said, a little humor in her voice and laugh that followed. They both knew what he was here for but that didn't need to get in the way of a little companionship. In all honesty she thought it might make things better. Aurelia didn't think she would ever say she liked doing this but even she had to admit to herself that it was better than being alone.
She swallowed as the conversation shifted and he moved closer, placing a kiss upon her lips. The... gentleness of the motion made her cheeks flush and she shrugged a little. "I..." she said, not sure what she should say to his question. Wasn't it her job to do whatever he asked? "I can't think of anything off the top of my head," she finally said. At his next comment she tilted her chin up, her gaze lingering on his momentarily although she could not see his deep red eyes she could feel his penatrating stare. "I haven't heard," she said, but she felt trusting of him in the moment. He'd been nothing but kind to her so far, so what reason would she have to think he'd hurt her? She lifted a paw and placed it on his broad chest, a curious look in her eye as if to question him further. She wouldn't outright ask him of it if he didn't want to tell her it was really none of her business.

As her smile grew bigger and bigger even ending in a laugh. Damon could feel himself grow more at ease. It was good to see someone smile at him, a change of pace if you will. Her demeanor didn't change after he hinted at his profession which was a bit of a surprise but maybe she grew up much more sheltered. He wasn't really in the mood to talk loudly about his job. Especially if somebody could overhear it. So instead he took the paw that laid on his breast and at first guided it to the scar on his nose, followed by his ripped ear. It ended with the inspection of the 4 scars on his left foreleg. ....Fade to Black....maybe?? @Aurelia |
Aurelia
Aurelia let out a litling laugh at his joke, her lips curving into a playful smile. It was nice to have conversation rather than just getting down to 'business', it was something she appriciated.
As her paw rested on his chest, she felt him move it to draw along his scars and she peered up at him curiously. Though she could not see the scars, she knew they ran deep and she wondered just what he'd done to get them. He was in the business of danger, that much she understood. As he spoke again, her ears folded and her smile turned somewhat timid. She leaned into him and let go entirely, as she often did, when it came to what was next. ... The woman let out a breathy sigh as she lay beside Damon now, the last lights of the day fading away. "so are you going to tell me how you got those scars?" she asked softly. To be quite honest, she was rather curious now, and she doubted anyone would hear from the saftey of her chambers. There weren't many others here anyway aside from her, Danya and whatever girls he plucked from the street. She tiled her chin up, brushing it against the bottom of his muzzle gently.
