Profile of Aurelia

aurelia was born karliah and shilah, mainlanders of the commonwealth. she remembers them both as kind and loving; if not a bit misguided. their faces are but distant memories, as she never had good eyesight to begin with and once was six months old it started declining rapidly. her parents tried their best to give her everything she needed but they weren't exactly wealthy. it was just the three of them and they had no outside help or family to rely on. so one day when her father went out hunting and never returned, karliah left her daughter behind to go search for him.

she, too... never came home.

the girl waited and waited, until her mouth was so dry and her belly ached so badly she had to go outside. once she left her childhood home, she managed to find her way to some water but food was a harder task. she couldn't see well enough to find her way to a market, nor did she have anything to offer as payment. she was nearing her first year but she was nowhere near capable of caring for herself and she never would be. many lonely nights turned into months turned into years. somehow, against all odds, she just kept surviving. throughout her travels, some wolves would take pity on her and help her while others would take advantage.

eventually she began to contemplate a way out. she couldn't do this anymore. it was then that danya found her. starved and vulnerable, when he extended his hand to help... she took it.
