N She nodded in Rhiannon's direction and flashed her an encouraging smile although her eyes still held deep concern for her friend's well-being. Nimue then turned to Aryth, her smile fading into a frown that darkened her features. "You see now? The world must change, Aryth...and we who are beckoned by that Voice...we must be the change we want to see in the world..." Nim gave the her colleague a meaningful look, in hopes that he understood. @Arythmetik @Rhiannon

Aryth watched the moment of affection between the two women with a mite of jealousy. Not because he felt left out, but because he’d never experienced that kind of friendship until now. His youth in the College was quite lonely, and many of his closest acquaintances were gone or too busy to chat. On his own part, the male had always been somewhat reserved. His propriety often kept him from forming close connections with other wolves. At least, until recently. He was growing, and he was happy. He had Nim, he had Grigori… And he wished Grigori was here right now, so he could feel that warm embrace. Aryth smiled, and timid (albeit platonic) affection blossomed in his heart as Nimue returned to his side. One other item of significance caught his attention: Nim referred to the pair as “Sisters of Samhain.” These women believed in the powers of the universe guiding him; Aryth wondered what else they believed in.Rhiannon explained that she was imprisoned merely for speaking her opinions on the crown. As the implications settled over the trio, Aryth’s emerald eyes widened. King Adamh wore a mask of diplomacy and gentleness, but if he was willing to toss a she-wolf in the dungeons merely for speaking out, what would he do next? Aryth glanced down at Nimue helplessly, his lips parted ever so slightly. Aryth paused, then glanced between the two ethereal women. @Nimue @Rhiannon ooc. You could consider this as Aryth's offer to be an "advisor" or political consultant for the Sisters of Samhain! LOL He's not officially switching to Voxi yet, although I can almost guarantee he will once he finds out how violent Jacob actually is. These ladies have Aryth's support! >:3 |
T Arythmetik’s expression was one of contemplation, and he took his time coming to conclusions about so-called queens and kings. The monarchy was useless to her, and she was silent as he sought to express his thoughts. Once he found his words, however, there were a great many of them, and Rhiannon’s narrowed eyes did not leave the scholar as he spoke. He agreed that Rhiannon’s imprisonment was wrong, and the woman of magic gave a curt nod in response. ”Who is to say what wolves they may capture next? If they come for dissenters, then who will they lock up afterwards?” Arythmetik finished his speech, offering his assistance; Rhiannon remained a skeptic – it was in her nature not to trust, after all, especially the men of her species. She spoke suddenly, in a low voice, ”Very well. I must be off now.” She cast the brute a final look, one of feigned neutrality and stoicism, though she did not trust him any more than she could trust any other of his gender. Her violet-hued eyes turned to Nimue, briefly, before she turned to leave without further comment. [exit] @Nimue @Arythmetik
