CALCIFER of the clan MURDOCH His first attempt at the kissing forest had been a bit of a failure. He'd gone and washed his face off from the soldier's sneeze and couldn't help but wonder if it had been on purpose. After all, the other had clearly been a soldier, likely full of Royalist thoughts dripping around in his head. He was starting to wonder if all Mainlanders thought his kind - ha, his kind. ugh. - as something to avoid or mock. He'd known all this, of course, but to feel the weight of their eyes on him reminded him harshly of the things Roisin and Kiel had said, their whispers of Jacob's right and how this king of the Mainlands had no right to rule. He shook it off anyways, wanting to get something out of this festival. The man made his way back to the kissing forest, shaking off the blindfold offered to him. Instead, he slipped through the bushes, eyeing the strangers hidden within. He spotted a short wolf, silvers and blacks blending together in an appealing combination that drew him from the shadows and into the open. He avoided the others carefully, ears pricking as the blindfolded stranger sang out calls for anyone who might listen. Ah, perfect. Calcifer drifted closer, circling around his prey with forest eyes gleaming in amusement. He came past the shorter wolf's shoulder, turning his head to breathe in his ear. Pixies aren't always small. His head swept down to plant a kiss upon the stranger's maw. And then he waited, interested to see what this man would do. @Valerian |
A There was a broad smile that spread across his face and he chuckled lifting the rest of the blindfold and tossing it to the side. "And thank fuck for that!" He took the brute in, realizing just how much larger he was. Valerian let out a long whistle and nodded with approval. "And does this...charming hunk of a pixie have a name?"

CALCIFER of the clan MURDOCH A deep chuckle drew itself from Calcifer's chest as he watched the other survey him and apparently find him adequate. More than adequate, if the roaming eyes told him anything. He does, teeth gleamed in a grin, Calcifer Murdoch, at your service. Who might this handsome bachelor be?At least, he assumed the other was a bachelor as much as he was. Even if he wasn't - well, Calcifer didn't care too much. He appraised the other slowly, taking in the slick greys and charcoals of the man, all caught up in wild and flowing fur. Where have you been hiding out?And why have I not yet set eyes on you? |
T He blinked himself back into reality and refocused on the taller lad. “Who? Oh, myself? Ha!” The bard chuckled to himself and gifted the other a flourishing bow and with flash of a smile as he introduced himself. “Valerian DeSoto. It’s quite the pleasure.” The next inquiry made him smirk and his brows rose as he moved into a light trot, circling his acquaintance as he hummed. “I’ve been here and there…not really hiding, though.” Valerian moved a bit closer to him so that the man would have to incline his head to keep him in his sights. “One must simply…look down.” He winked, obviously good-humored about his stature.
