These words would eventually meet ink upon leaves rather for parchment, having not the correct materials in the given moment to prepare his father and sister a proper note before his leave. This’ll have to do, he reminded himself, leaving the collection of leaves in an obvious spot to where his sister may find should she return after a successful hunt. Whilst father was away on another business trip, Felyra would fend the family shelter at her lonesome, as most of her studies could be done at home. There, she was free to work in peace, a time she happened to enjoy more than being in a physical classroom. He, however, was one to debate otherwise.

With a subtle smoothing of his chest fur and under-chin, Forsythe would see to make for a quiet escape towards the academy, paws delicately scaling the melting dirt as the semester would rejoice against spring’s offerings. The earthen smoke-colored male was fortunate to be living so near to campus that it would not be long before reaching the very threshold of what was Melrose. His pace slowed, attention gravitating to the lingering, yet oddly familiar faces about the grounds.

Perhaps this would be the year he’d finally make a debut worth mentioning. His father ushered him to meet friends, in which he did, but cliques and crews did not suffice the social butterfly well enough to consider. He loathed the social scenes of classes sticking close to one another, and yet craved the undivided knowledge of all of them at once. His blossom pink eyes flickered about the chattering souls that were students and professors alike, his throat clearing and mind a bit scattered as he walked forward without truly paying attention to what obtruded his path.
