The mystery and the fog of Perth was what brought Riften here today. He was starting to feel better about his physical abilities. Maybe not up for a swim just yet, but being near the river might be a nice change. The smell of the moisture in the air was also a very nice touch. He could find something to entertain himself. But these days he was never alone anymore, not since winning his prize at the fish eating contest. His little companion was vocal when needed, but usually got their point across with physical interactions. It was nice to have someone to talk to, even if he was not sure the cat understood everything he was saying. There were two ears to listen. Riften found himself near the water's edge and there was a large tree that had seemed to have fallen and was resting on both banks - creating some sort of bridge between the two. Upon inspection, Riften decided that he was not sure if it was going to be able to hold his weight or not. Would it even stay still should he jump onto it? His feline was also curious and jumped onto the log with ease. So graceful, so perfect. If only he could do the same, and so he tried. His weight forced the log to shift to the right side, rolling a little over, but was stopped by a boulder. Should he cross to the other side?
